MP writes
to Secretary of State over Fit for the Future
Mid Sussex MP, Nicholas
Soames has written to Health Secretary Alan Johnson following the decision
to put the referral of Fit for the Future on hold pending the decision of
NHS Trusts in Worthing and Chichester to consider a merger.
Mr Soames has asked the Secretary of State to allow the
PRH element within Fit for the Future to be forwarded to the Independent
Reconfiguration Panel for its urgent attention, whilst other hospitals
trusts in West Sussex "get their respective houses in order".
