Further
consultation on midwife-led maternity units In order to decide the location of a stand alone midwife-led maternity unit in the north-east of West Sussex, the Primary Care Trust will be carrying out further public consultation from 1st July 2008 for an 8 week period. It is likely that any midwife-led unit will be based at either Princess Royal Hospital or at Crawley Hospital, with a final decision being taken later this year as part of the further review of health services in north-east West Sussex. The PCT is proposing to organise 6 consultation events - 2 each in Crawley and Haywards Heath and one each in Horsham and East Grinstead.
