Campaign calls for residents to pack health cuts public meeting
18 September 2007

Thousands of local residents have so far attended public meetings across Mid Sussex to voice their concern at the threat to A&E and maternity services at the Princess Royal Hospital. Now, the campaign opposing the cuts are urging residents to come along to what could be the most important public meeting to be held in Haywards Heath.

The Primary Care Trust will hold the final Haywards Heath public meeting on Wednesday 26th September, to be held at Clair Hall, Haywards Heath from 7-9pm.

The campaign are hoping concerned residents will pack the meeting in their hundreds, to speak up against the threat of the PRH being downgraded. As well as giving residents the chance to quiz health chiefs on their plans to downgrade the PRH, the meeting will hear from local MP Nicholas Soames and a representative from the Support the PRH campaign team.
