Protest at the SHA's heath summit

The Support the Princess Royal Hospital campaign today held a protest with other hospital campaigns in Sussex outside the South East Strategic Health Authority's health summit, to draw attention to the cuts in services facing local hospitals.

 

The health summit, entitled "Patients at the Heart of System Reform" was held to allow Candy Morris, the SHA's Chief Executive and other senior Health Officials from the Department of Health to set out their case for service reconfigurations to an invited audience in Brighton.

 

Around 100 people joined the protest outside the Hilton Metropole Hotel as delegates broke for lunch.
