Department
of Health spin operation begins Later this month, the newly formed South East Coast Strategic Health Authority will be beginning the spin operation to prepare the ground for the consultation document on the future of local hospital services. A summit entitled “Patients at the Heart of System Reform” will be held on Wednesday 29th November at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton, for invited guests only, to set out the Department of Health’s vision for reconfiguring how NHS services are provided. The Support the PRH Campaign will be joining other hospital campaigns in the South East to protest at the proposed downgrading of the PRH. The protest will assemble at midday and be held as conference delegates break for lunch.
